I came across this French Canadian guy's Flickr page quite by accident.

His RW models are EXQUISITE, and his Whiffed profiles are very thought provoking too.

This is the one that caught my eye.

His profile page is here :- https://www.flickr.com/people/franclab/ WELL worth looking at.

With a remote turret and modified bubble canopy, that would make a great Defiant successor. Loft here I come!

Look for this as well other other club entries at IPMS 2018."

Francois is a nice guy from Canada, a great modeller and illustrator, too - not so much into whiffing, but he has produced a number of very inspiring whiffy profiles that found their way into hardware on my bench.  ;)

His 1/72 scratchbuilt model of the Rolls Royce Flying Bedstead is AMAZING!

Many of his "normal" builds, too, with lots of improvements and improvisations.

BTW, and unrelated: came across this nice X-32 conversion (note the different, F-18esque air intake arrangement, sad that there's no better perspective that better shows the lower nose section):

MUCH better looking than the standard X-32. But that wouldn't be difficult................ :(

It's got a hint of Rafale in those intakes too.

Or T-2  Buckeye?

I prefer the original X-32 to the boring X-35. Zzzzzzzz

Hmmm, what about Super Hornet intakes?
