Lacks IMHO canards and some more engines, but the concept and the execution are great.

As the project moved forward everything started to change and the likely production
aircraft was going to look a lot different.



Broplan did a vacform of the A-36, I think they did that configuration.

I DO like the double piston engined Lightning, and I have quite a number of them in The Loft too.

Or is it a single H-24 engine with contra-props?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Very much so, but somehow if the Do 335 had entered service in sufficient numbers you can imagine it being the USAAF's answer to it ? Well I'm beginning to anyway  ;D
