I really can't wait to see this one finished!

You and me both!  I can't get outside to prime it at the moment either, so  I may have to take it over to me Mam's and prime it in the loft.

I really want to get it finished for Huddersfield so I can get on with the other of my 1941 builds.

Hi Lee,

Just found this thread - great inspiration! I know it's a while ago ;)  but I was wondering if there were any pics of the finished conversion?

Cheers,
Mark

I'll sort them out as soon as I have some data free.

Not sure what I was aiming for or quite when. Missed off the yellow leading edges.

Finally, with a SEAC mk V.

Oh yes, I like that a LOT!

The photo hides the shoddy paintwork on the Mk.V.  Not one of my better moments.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Thanks! And, seeing as I was the one asking, apologies for not having responded sooner!

Two excellent builds: the Mk.V is such a subtle conversion that it needs a second look to actually see the differences, the Dagger version is ***brilliant***, I love it! There's something very rugged about it, almost brutish, and it certainly looks the part in its TLS. Its quite surprising what a difference the missing radiator makes.

Thanks again for searching your archives for these pics, its really appreciated!

All the best,
Mark

No, all new photos with the new toy.  The respective Hurricanes were needing dusting anyway.
