Good stuff! I'm hoping the Superbug is going to get one of the early high-vis Phantom schemes.
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

Too bad the Tomcat isn't still around,it'd look great in the WWII style 3 tone dark blue/light blue/white scheme with a shark mouth, like the old Hellcats.

Nothing to stop you doing one that way if you want is there?

It apparently only just went into the paint shop for masking, but they've started a Growler in a three-tone 1943 scheme, without the red-bordered insignia.

I haven't been on much of late because the internet was down at home until yesterday afternoon.

Here's the MH-60R that was half-painted as of a month ago, and a Growler which is still a work in progress.  I'm told that the too-bright blues are a combination of fluorescent lights and color correction by the camera.

In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

Tri-color with light gray in lieu of white, hmmmm....where I have seen THAT before I wonder  ;D

And they went with Shangri-La's G-symbol

Looks like I got my wish.  They've now got a Prowler in the paint shop.

Here's another F/A-18C, assigned to VFA-122, in standard 1944 colors.  Air Group markings are still TBD.

The underside being blue outside of the hinge point is great attention to detail! Makes me think of a Corsair !!

Careful about acronyms, my friend... In US Navy lingo I first thought you meant that the markings were... er... "devastating"!!!  ;D ;D ;D
