Does anyone know if there are any plans by decal manufactures to create decal sheets for some or all of these beautiful Navy aircraft?  We could cobble something together by scrounging our decal stash, but a few purpose-built decal sheets would be really nice.

I could of sworn I say that TwoBobs had put together a sheet for the Prowler and Growler Centennial schemes but now I can't find anything on it  :banghead:  Did anyone else see it?  I thought I saw it over on Cybermodeler.

Fireball Modelworks have done the Seawolves scheme for the HH-60s of HSC-84:

I saw that TwoBobs "Hot Babe" of this week are VAQ-129's retro Prowler and Growler, but I don't remember seeing that they were doing decals.  Just wait, though.

Unless I missed something, they seem to have neglected an example of the grey and white WWII Atlantic fleet scheme worn by some Avengers.

Pity if they have, I've always been rather partial to it.

They've somehow skipped over the 60s-era gray over white color scheme also, though they have dressed up a couple of Super Hornets with tail markings from that period.

Here's another new one, from VFC-12, working up in the markings of VF-12, circa 1945, when the squadron flew Hellcats from the deck of USS Randolph (CV-15):

Very nice! I agree on the atlantic scheme! the 1960's gray over white is awesome too:

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Almost there.  An F/A-18C assigned to VX-31 out of NAS China Lake, painted in a 1960s China Lake test scheme:

What a looker!  That just looks beautiful even if you don't know anything about the subject. That Radome looks great like that   (mental note: Use that!!)

Best one yet! I'm still holding out a vain hope for a full-colour Marines scheme (say VMF-333) or any '60s Phantom scheme on a Bug. :)
