Hi Colin,

some excellent choices there, I'm looking forward to seeing them.

Will the Green Cheese be for the 1/72 Airfix Bucc?

Rolead

A lovely varied selection there Colin.

On a point though 'and since real aircraft do sell better than paper projects' I think there would be a market for the P.1214/P.1216, one or both.

Yes Harro, all for Airfix Bucc, to go with earlier nose and tail correction sets we have done already. Not the best kit i the world, but a good enough starting point!

The Wooksta!

I'm still waiting for the two stage Merlin conversion for the Mosquito!

There might be Robert, but not as big, and investment in masters is not cheap and needs a good sales return. but never say never on the P.1214/1216 ehh?!

P.1B (not A) is 1/72 for Trumpeter F.1A kit.

Looking a bit unlikely Wooksta, since chap from 3D-Kits were telling everyone at Telford (including me!) that it was next set was injection moulded stage two Merlins for 1/72nd Tamiya kit.

Hi Colin

I will buy an SR.53, however I thought you weren't using Anigrand any more-their casting isn't as fine as  your more recent stuff.

cheers

Got it thanks! Sorry I couldn't spell 'Valiant' correctly.....
Colin

And I trusted you  ;D ;)

Nice selection Colin and I'm really looking forward to the 327

Interesting news re the 3D-Kits 2 stage Merlins, can understand your reluctance

Chris
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

The Wooksta!

Thanks for clarifying that, Colin.  I am looking forward to the 327 though.

Nice selection there Colin, will be getting the Green Cheese for sure .

Re 1214/1216, the 1214 was just a concept, the 1216 did get as far as wooden mock up and wind tunnel testing so a t least its a bit more than just a paper project. Mike Pryce's new book on the type due in the Aerotech series should help stoke up interest once its published and make people more aware of the design.

Hi Van,
I wasn't, but the last batch of 1154s were pretty much flawless, and they have improved greatly on some of the newer kits so I've had to re-think things. The pattern making is very good, and on this one I'm giving them full walkaround images so expect it to be up to a high standard of detail. They won't be casting anymore 1154s or 177s (as I have the masters now).

Colin,
Have you thought about hitting up Martin for his masters for the 1216/1214?  Know there is another thread out there where someone is trying to get enough interest to get him to cast up a few and his kit isn't complete (needs canopy, gear, etc).  Just an idea that maybe you two could come to an understanding.  The 1216 could sell well, especially if you can get SC involved based on the profiles he created and do some decal versions off them.
