Hello chaps,
New Freightdog releases including conversion sets and complete kits for first quarter of 2011 will be announced very soon. I'm waiting to here what Airfix, Revell and Italier are doing for sure, before I put my foot in my mouth so to speak. One of the first that will be going ahead will be an EE P.1B conversion (prototype EE Lightning F.1, as originally flown). This will include resin with decals (serials only) for XA847. Designed for use with the Trumpeter 1/72nd Lightning F.1A kit. Price and availability to be announced. I hope to do some more of the modifications that XA847 carried later in its life as future sets, along with some more Lightning stuff of a more what-if nature, bacause I like Lightnings, but the ones that actually flew are so boring compared to the ones that didn't....

Wonderful, I'll just get into The Loft and count up my Lightning kits....  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

I think that'd be more of a complete kit than a conversion!

Modelzone have some Lightning F.1A's in their sale (but not in my local branch), but watch for the postage if its mail order.

Look forward to the P.1109A pictures, you only got them last week?!
