I don't usually set goals like that as something always comes up to interfere.

However, as Whiffs are concerned:

1/72 Zlin 42 trainer in East Austrian markings
1/72 Steyr built MiG-15 in East Austrian markings

Beyond that, just to continue and perhaps complete my "Austria Divided" alternate history story

Finish at least some of the 20-odd in-progress builds I already have!

As for new projects, I want to do one "big" one this year - this could be my Hawker Vindicator V-bomber, or else a four-engined piston heavy of some description (I have a Sunderland gunship to do). I'd also like to break out from aircraft, and do more sci-fi/mech/vehicle stuff.
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

Planned builds for 2011

Real World:

1/32 scale Fw 190D-9 W.Nr. 600150

1/32 scale Fw 190D-9 W.Nr. 500570

What-ifs:

1/72 scale Huma Ta 283

There will be more what-if types built in 2011 but I learned not to make plans very far in advance, things rarely go as planned and who knows what may inspire me in the next year.

Hmmm, some of you will probably recall that I started a similar thread last year, and pretty much kept to it. In fact in 2010, I only built one Real World subject (a JASDF T-33). So for 2011, I have the following in-mind to build:

Real World
1:32 Ki61 (already 85% finished)
1:32 F-4J or A-7E or RNZAF Kittyhawk III or Brazillian P-47, will probably be time for just one of these BIG builds.

1:48 A-1J (for the Vietnam War GB on Britmodeller)
1:48 RF-4C (for the Phantom GB on Britmodeller)
1:48 RF-4E (for the Recce GB on ARC)
1:48 Boston III (for the Bomber GB on Britmodeller)

1:35 T-55A (40% built)
1:35 M24 Chaffee (also for the Britmodeller Vietnam war GB)

What If
1:72 1:72 Hunter (already built)
1:48 F-105F & 1:48 P-47N (not saying too much about these two yet).
1:48 Ta183 or Fw190D (if the '46 GB gets the go-ahead, here)
1:48 F/A-18 (Left over from the Vive la France GB)

None of the real world builds will be shown here, if anybody is interested in seeing them, then they'll be on Britmodeller (www.britmodeller.com) or at Matt Swann's place (www.swannysmodels.com) in the appropriate threads.

Sod the GB stuff.  Build them anyway.

I'll be building another Furious at some point this year, probably with either the AFDU or an OCU.

I will, Lee. Sometimes I need the 'discipline' of a Group Build to keep me honest !!

1/72 S:AAB SA-43 Hammerhead

Hope you post pictures of that build. Love the SA-43

Looking forward to seeing Daryl J's Russian force as well

I plan on finishing what I wanted to complete in 2010  :banghead: Where does the time go? Hoping I am at that point where 2010 looks slow, but I get a bunch finished in 2011. Also thinking about doing some challenging "speed builds", Maybe 2-3 day build, and a couple of one weekers, if only just to practice for the annual GB. Plus whichever GBs I can get moving on.

I am also determined to make a cool base for pictures, and I am determined to make some helicopters this year

Hoping for a great year with many posts and pictures from everyone

I am still waiting for the US Postal Service to deliver mine from Fantastic Plastic.  Apparently the decals are from JBOT.  If the kits look good, I will have to bug them (Fantastic Plastic) to create a 1/72 ISSCV/APC to go along with the Hammerhead.

No plans this year. I'll just browse the stash and pick a kit out that interests me. However I am going to try and finish some of the really old hangar queens  :banghead:

about to do a 1/24 jag XJ220.

Here's a challenge for you: build the kit not as the V6 turbo production model, but with the V12 and 4WD of the prototype.
