Anyone got their Club kits yet ? I know they should be sent out any moment...

(Side note... 100 pages !! Woot! )

I rejoined in November time and they sent me the 1/48 Me109 Club kit, so I bet I won't get the Russia Set till I rejoin again.  :banghead:

I think NARSES2 said he had his just the other day.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I just joined the club for the first time ever, so I'm now not merely a geek, I'm a card-carrying geek with a badge..... ;D

I also can't find the large pile of empty Airfix boxes with Flying Hours on them which I remember having....  :blink: I hope it's just that I've put them in a safe place, and not that I threw them out in a fit of pique in the days when joining the club looked less attractive..... :banghead:

Yup and here's the info I posted in My stash just grew again

"My Airfix Club kits came yesterday. Someone was asking what kits they were. Well the Hurricane is the IIC boxing with a amended wing to give a IIB, the Spitfire is the current Vc boxing and the P-40 is the recently tooled P-40B.

Nice transfer sheet in the set. "

I've been told to expect my kits at the end of the month or early part of next month. But I also get a voucher to go and buty a 2013 catalouge

My LHS can't get a hold of any of the new A-4 kits ! Crazy stuff ! I really want one or 4 for a RCN build.

Just your friendly neighbourhood Mad Scientist and Ship-whiffer.

Overkill? Nah, it's Insurance.  So are the 20" guns.

No not really in my opinion.   But to get a Benny from Fujimi is all but impossible making the Airfix kit (almost) the only game in town.
