So your going to source a nice young Lady?......

Sounds like a good idea to me... not to my wife, I'm rather certain... but I have no problem with it! ;D

Brill! It's the Rose Turret and they have the H2S scanner inside the radar bulge too.

My Dad when he served in 617 Sqn., flew out to India in one of those.  I'll have to get one when they come available over here.  Because he was ground crew, him and his mates had to sit on cushions in the fusealge gangway (no safety belts for them) but he told me to relieve the boredom, they were allowed to sit in the dorsal and tail turrets at various intervals along the way, with strict orders 'not to touch anything'

Looks more like the FN82 to me Kit which is included on the clear sprue anyway although saying that I could be mistaking the part as the FN120 which is less likely to have been included. The Rose turret was used by 100 Group exclusively as far as I know.

The Wooksta!

Definitely FN82.  You get the glazing and internals for both turrets, but only one set of back and floor.

This was dragged up on The Airfix Tribute Forum Aircav, it's all been explained there for what it's supposed to be aimed at --- the whole story erupted over there but has now died down.

No it hasn't, Hornby would like you to think that but theres a lot of very unhappy people.

Your right they are, the only problem for Hornby is that they are the only ones in the market so people can go to other firms which will then leave Hornby out in the cold.

I built several Lancs for colleagues in ATC. One was "Admiral Shyte 'Awk" Flown by s/ldr [I think] Pete Perry. Tamiya 1/48 B1. Then a commission for the Tamiya Dambuster and the last one was for a tail gunner NOT of 100 group who flew with a Rose turret. He had the photos to prove it  ;) This was the Matchbox kit.
Cheers

As I said "as far as I know" and quite happy to be proved wrong. Details of the aircraft would be nice though as its difficult to model something real life like that without some more information.
