no, its part of the Dutch AF historic flight, but i havent seen it in a few years after that incident.
this is the Red Devils fouga, note different paint scheme:

-all kinds of things.

They're a LOT higher in that pic than I ever saw them fly!  ;D

Thanks for the clarification.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Those look awfully pretty: I hope someone does a decal sheet for them!

Isn't it odd how a little thing that sounds theoretically wrong can actually "make" a scheme? I can't explain why, but if the back section of the cockpit canopy on those hadn't been painted white, they wouldn't have looked so good.

Y'know given how popular Magisters were with display teams and the fact that the new boxing doesn't have any display team colours as standard, I wonder if Airfix are considering, or might consider, putting it out in a special "display teams" edition with, say, Patrouille de France, Red Devil and Israeli Swallows markings?

1/72 Rotodyne.  New tool...

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

The article mentions a large model, probably 1/24.  1/24 Rotodyne?!?!?
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Could be the Mosquito Bomber version as that's supposed to be in the pipe line along with the Cab Door Typhoon, although I suspect they will wait another year for that to ensure sales of the initial kit are completed.

Personally I would prefer to see a bigger 1/72nd kit announced, as I think that may have a bigger impact at SMW, the Typhoon they did last year looked awesome, but the big reveal didn't really stir up the crowd.

Pretty sure Combat Models did one, can't confirm that right now, their website is under new construction --

Just checked my Big Book and yes they did.

But how'd you like to do a 1/12 scale one or a 1/18 --- ?
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

I think it will be a   1/24 scale F-35 b   or a  :wub:1/48 scale Vulcan  or even a  1/12 scale bloodhound ssc car

Honestly, it's the honest ones you have to watch out for!!!

Could be a re-issue of the 1/24th scale Little Nellie Autogyro....... ;D

NARSES2

Well if it is 1/24 then I would like either a Hawker Tempest or Sea Fury to go alongside my Typhoon

However I'll be much more interested in the 1/72 releases announced in the catalogue for 2015. Maybe a scaled down Javelin ? a Tempest to go with the lovely Typhoon ? maybe a Griffon Seafire ? One of the best parts of this great hobby of ours is wishing for new models  ;D
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
