look closely at the two pics of the Airfix design gnomes and you'll see that the Shackleton in the right hand photo has an AEW.2 radome.

Multiple packs of seated pilot figures in a variety of poses; not just the WW2 'Crotch Holders' or the Modern 'Casual, Crossed Legs' positions, please!!!
And dare we hope for other crew members also??

This set

has three pilots in poses which differ from the usual.
They have separate arms so they can be adjusted to fit.  Not much use for WW1 & 2 planes (or are they? ;D) but good for modern stuff.
I paid a massive $4 at expo for one of these kits in order to get the crew van.  When I got it home and saw how good the pilots were I wished i'd snapped up the second one he had at the same price. :banghead:

I've got a few sets of those PJ productions Transport crew figures, plus a couple of those Hasegawa pilot figure boxes two. Have to agree, they make a very nice addition to any model.

The Swift is now showing a due date of 01/01/2015 on the website, so who knows what that indicates... :rolleyes:

According to a discussion on the Airfix forum, the problem is due to the mould getting damaged because a screw worked loose during production of the initial run that went to America, and Airfix are now waiting for the mould to be repaired.

I just spoke to a very nice woman at Airfix who informed me that it is an error on the web site. The Swift should still be available from 10/July/2015 as previously shown on the site. Operator error by someone updating something somewhere is the most likely explanation for the confusing date.  :blink:

I've heard Swift will be out as soon as Airfix have finished the work on their warehouse, which should see it reopen Mon - I think
