No ,
There's some good rest shots and a it's built straight out of the box.
There's a what-if 1/48 Airfix EE Lightning F.6 in USAF South Asia colour scheme, with Sparrow missiles, drop tanks and rockets.

But that's "just" a paint whiff.  It's a good start but they should have something more adventurous that shows the particular techniques required when mating parts from completely unrelated kits (possibly in different scales).

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

In the November edition of Airfix Model World there's an article on the 1/72 Phantom FG.1, if you are interested.

Do they whiff it?
I'd like to see AMW include a radical kitbash whiff as an advanced build feature.
Never going to happen but imagine the number of out of joint noses in the rivet counting community...

It's 100% OOB naturally.

But there is a USAF Viet Nam era BAC Lightning in the 'Reader's Model' feature, which is a breakthrough in itself!

Manufacturing in the UK.  Now there's a novelty.
Whatever will they think of next?

Thanks for the Walrus sprue shots Jon
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Is it true that Airfix has retooled the Avro Vulcan using their scanner or is this just a rumor to generate interest?

It would make sense now that they have the other two V bombers in more modern technology, but who can tell?

I feel you, Throvic.  Cold and Post-Cold War 35th scale US support services vehicles (besides 930-series 5t, HEMMTs, HMMWVs) are also the redheaded stepchildren

I get Airfix's news letter via email, and every time I look at it when they announce something new, it isn't!!
Shame really they don't seem to want to dip their toe in to something less same old same old
