NARSES2

Whilst waiting for a train this morning I was musing on what the Airfix "Big Reveal" would have been this year and if in the absence of SMW there will be one ? If so it will obviously be on-line, but I wondered if they would try and make an event of it ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

It's the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, so logically it should be something like a new tool 24th scale Spitfire, but going off previous form of pissing on RAF anniversaries, they'll probably do a 24th Mustang or a 72nd B29.

It'll be the 1/24 Lysander they delayed to get the Vulcan done.

Probably a new tool Halifax (the old one is vile), or possibly a Lincoln - the latter is the only British bomber since 1945 that they haven't done.

Yes please.  A Mk31.

Just a thought, but Airfix currently have no Mosquito in their range.  In any scale.

But they must have some moulds stashed away, surely?

Yes, which would work for the dodgy old repop classic range but they did publicly announce no "new" kits unless they were produced using LIDAR or drawings.
Although that didn't work out too well on the MiG 17 if what I have been reading is correct.

McColm

Maybe a reworked 1/72 BAe Nimrod MR.2P with extra detailed parts. Or the Mk1 Shackleton. The Avro Lincoln with the optional longer nose. A 1/72 A.W. Argosy or Blackburn Beverly , but I think that they would release a 1/72 Boeing Washington B1.

..A 1/72 Blackburn Beverly..

As I yesterday actually stumbled across my old vac form Beverley, that would be good timing..  ;)
