Don't get me going on about Maxis, they made my last two years in the motor industry hell on wheels! :(

A great idea, but very poorly executed, for purely monetary reasons, and taken by people who knew NOTHING about cars, but thought they did because they did know all about trucks and buses.  :banghead:
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Just watched the Airfix releases 2021 on YouTube as their website is currently down.
I'm pleased about the Bond Bug and Jaguar 420, the Vickers Valiant  and the Chipmunk.
The starter sets are a good idea on the tank range,  but I'm betting that aftermarket kits will be needed to finish off the Spitfire and Hawk.
I haven't seen the catalogue yet but I will be checking YouTube for kit reviews.

It's not the Bond Bug, it's the Beach Buggy:

Is no-one celebrating the re-release of the Trident? :-\

I would be if I'd known they were doing it, but the web site was impossible to look at with a slow broadband y'day.

PLEASE tell me they're doing it in DIFFERENT colour schemes and not the boring old BEA Red Square and the BA Red tail..................

Doing it properly would be even better instead instead of moulding a model of the prototype.

It is the old BEA scheme. The thought occurred tome that, given the Tridents reluctance to actually leave the ground, it might be an idea to convert it to an Ekranoplane for cross Channel work ;D

Was that modelled on an actual Beach Buggy design?  And if so, what?
It's not a Meyers Manx - AMT did that in the one true car scale (1/25).

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Talking about older re-release by Airfix. Are we sure that the Mosquito is a new kit?

Definitely.  There's a video on YouTube:

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Special Hobby do a Tempest Mk.II in 1/72 in two different boxings IIRC for different operators and of course there is the old Matchbox Mk. II/VI kit too

I'm sure plenty would happily convert the Airfix for the higher detail.  There's still a fair few shudder at the idea of a SH kit.

Bugle Beach Buggy. One piece moulded body, shortened VW Beetle chassis, Porsche V6 engine.

I wonder if that would work on the new Beetle?

As i read that link, the Porsche engine (flat-6 not V6 BTW) was only on a couple of specials: most of them used the standard Beetle engine.
