Now, if the announcement was for a brand new up to date 1/72 FGR. 4 with all bells and whistles included, I might be interested.

Very disappointed its just a Starter Set. Ah well. Maybe next year.......!

The phantom is pre order too

Good spot. However they're not saying "2025 launch" on it, which implies to me that it should be in very soon.

Quote from: scautomoton on February 21, 2025, 01:00:13 AMTo be fair, I'll take a Buccaneer S.2B and a new Typhoon FGR.4 and be happy with a Meteor for free, but the Typhoon is only on Pre-Order, so doesn't count towards the buy. Otherwise there's nothing else I'm interested in. I don't do WW2 stuff since I only care about speed; noisy, dirty, jet propelled speed.... yeah!

The Typhoon FGR.4 has been released today.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I saw on facebook that they had released the typhoon fgr 4. To my eyes, it does't really stand out, mainly because it is devoid of ordnance. Not a problem in wiff world, but it would be nice of they bothered.

Pee on it and walk away!!

They've also announced a 50% off sale on some kits (I assume for Club Members only ?). One of the kits you can get is the old JS.3 tank which I thought had gone to its grave decades ago

Doesn't seem to be club members only: I can see it and interact with it without logging in.

Some items listed on the main sale page are out of stock when you click on them.

Sale items DO count towards the £50 you need to get the free Meteor.

Have to say I agree with you. The illustrated model also looked a bit toylike to my eyes! I'd have been interested if it had been the full fat option, namely a highly detailed, 1/72 multi option kit with many things that go bang included. I've no interest in raiding my spares box or, forking out vast sums for aftermarket frippery and bling. Yes, before ANYBODY says anything, I do get the Starter Set concept ;)  ;D .

This is not for me. Same with the F-35 If others are happy with it, that's fine by me

The two Lancaster kits in the sale, BoB flight (1 Lanc & 2 Spits) and Dambusters (Lanc & F-35B from 617 sqn) look like good value at £30 each. They're also selling the Swift for £14.

£30 is a pretty good price..they are very very nice even in that odd ball scale of 72nd  <_<

You don't have enough room for a Lanc in your favoured scale... :-\

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Mate that's a definite thing that is ...I believe I've got 2 72nd scale Lancasters and it's getting very close to not having room for one of those if I ever build em ...well one anyway..ones missing a few bits 😢.
