Just saw this on Facebook. Newly released from Airfix!  ;D  Looks like a breeze to build.
Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.
My modeling philosophy is: Don't build what everyone else has done. Build instead what nobody has seen or done before.

Only ONE part too. Simples!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Bet I could still cock it up  ;)
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

You could whiff that by making it the other way classic paper planes are folded.

Alternatively, make another one out of the instructions and then complain to Airfix that they didn't give you a Dogfight Doubles stand to put them on.

Putting the waterslide decals on is going to be "interesting" isn't it?

OR you could go "meta" and scratchbuild a plastic model of a paper plane out of thin sheet styrene, then wait for some JMN to come up and complain that it's not plastic so it doesn't belong in an IPMS show...

Ha, fell for that!  :banghead:  ;D ;D   I was busy yesterday and saw it but didn't get around to posting it.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

At Telford this year we'll all have to go up to the Airfix stand and ask them "when the hell is the Sunderland coming out, you said April !!!". Even better if we go up individually over the weekend, see how long it takes them to put a notice up   ;D

And we should ask them which glue works best on the Paper Plane too...............  ;D

I got the e-mail about the paper dart at 8pm.  As that was after midday it means the jokes on Airfix.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

MOCK UP a 1/24 Sunderland?????????

That'd be a BIG job, in more ways than one!  :o

[Later] Ah, you meant the Paper Plane, sorry.

Airfix have made the 3D print file on-line to print it. Wouldn't it be easier to make it out of PAPER?

So, some rough, quick calculations using https://www.modelbuildings.org/scale-conversion-calculator/, a 1/24 scale Sunderland would have a length of 42", wingspan of 56.375" and be shy 16.5' tall.  And take a lot of Evergreen to build
