Here you go guys, since it's you...

Conclusion is, it's not too bad. It'll go together quickly, but if you expect to sand every seam and put in some work, then I'd go ahead and buy it.  Only expect the clear parts to be replaced and any mould clean up if Airfix say so on the Workbench blog, they've only done it for the Auster and Bond Bug.

The wing joints actually fit well, the gaps are due to the pull on the tape. The worst fit is the canopy (apologies, the camera focused on the tail) a large gap on the bottom, but a shim of plastic card should sort it out. The engines are slightly iffy too.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Exactly what I did with mine.

Interesting reading on both of the links, Mossie - thanks!
And a nice bonus in-progress shot of a Lysander interior.

I'd have preferred a military option rather than civil so, if I do buy this kit, it will likely end up in the slowly increasing line up for my Independent Scottish Republic (Air Force) collection. Now that my C-130 is complete........! ;)  ;D . Shame it's really the only game in town. 60 squids for the Fly Mk31 kit is not an option.

Looks like Airfix may have a surprise lined up for SMW on Saturday, be intersting to see if it;s something decent or another 48th jobbie to please the 48th mafia who seem to dominate the web by being the most vocal.

That makes a change, they usuall spend Friday set up and first thing Saturday keeping their new kit news under wraps untill they officially release it,  ;D

Be nice to know before we even get there this time

Yup, the 410 was a nice surprise last year. Hopefully they can come up with something equaly so.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Actually, I think I've cracked it. Never occurred to me until now, but, it's unfortunately THAT time of year again and, it's time for Aldi to sell the Airfix Starter Sets. The surprise announcement will therefore be ;  AN ENTIRELY NEW AND DIFFERENT SELECTION OF STARTER SETS AT ALDI! ;)  ;D

Or a 1/24 th Beverley that you can actually LIVE in?  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
