DUKW,
Red Arrows Gnat,.

I'll have to look out for a duck, I've got one mostly built but another wouldn't hurt. The old kit scrubs up quite well.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Local Lidl (Stockport, Greater Manchester)

1/72nd Spitfire 1A
1/72nd Tiger 1
1/76th DUKW
1/72nd Sherman Firefly

All £6.99

Various Quick Build cars and the AH-64 Apache. I think these were £8.99 but don't hold me to that.

Also, Hobbycraft have a 3 for the price of 2 sale on Airfix and Revell which MIGHT be a very good deal if the kits you want happen to be on the list (not all are). Be aware that some kits that are in the offer don't have offer stickers on them: ask or check the website to make sure.

Had the same in Hull, with the addition of the Gnat.

Well, not holding my breath regarding the 2025 range announcement. The last few have been a triumph of hype over substance.
I fully expect that 1/72 wil be generally ignored /overlooked again with nothing but reissues on that scale and, any/all new items being 1/48 only. I'm not really bothered about their non aircraft subjects.

Just a personal observation of course. Que Sera Sera!. With low expectations, I won't be disappointed and, Airfix will get no money out of me. If  I'm wrong, it'll be a welcome bonus 😉😂

Bearing in mind I have to shell out for a new IMac* and evil billionaire ex-NUFC owner Mike Ashley has a finger in the Hornby pie, I can't afford any new Airfix kits and if I could, I wouldn't because I'd be lining the pockets of that wockney canker.

Besides, it'll all be 48th or rereleases anyway.

*A refurbed 2017 one off eBay.  I certainly couldn't afford the 1500 notes for a brand new one.

What's a Flying Hour actually worth these days? Turns out that, due to price variation within a Series and the fact that the redemption scale brackets Series together, it varies quite a bit. This table also takes into account the fact that you can ONLY mail order kits with Flying Hours and the £5.95 p&p is fixed, so it adds a greater percentage of cost to a cheap kit than to an expensive one.

Your best bet financially is a Series 6 or the more expensive end of Series 9, although obviously how much you actually want the kit for it's own sake matters hugely.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Not much of a New Year sale. Pretty poor selection overall

They've had two recently that were better stocked so that might have depleted what was available.  Also, they tend to add more a short while afterwards. Can't imagine any additions will make it stellar, but might improve it a bit.

Just what I was going to say: they have a habit of adding more stuff over time.

If you're not in any of the Airfix schemes and you can get to a Hobbycraft, they're stocking it and they're doing a 3 for 2 offer at the moment that includes all Airfix kits.
