As a kid I had the RE8/Roland CII Dogfight Double.  Loved the Roland (and I had a Hanover CL.III around the same time) - thought it was so cool.  And looking at pictures on the web just now makes me think it couldbe good whiffing material - no rear gunner, but 2 MGs for the pilot.

I know LFG did in real life produce single seater/2 MG fighters.

Yes!  I too had that one, and remember building it one pouring wet summer holiday in the south east of Scotland. I even managed to get them both home  in one piece.  The wings on the RE8  were a nightmare!!

Yep the Walfisch was great

Always liked the Roland and the Hanover was a nice kit as well. Hanover was recently re-released and it would be nice to see the Roland released maybe with the markings of that one that had "curtains" in the windows.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I was at Hobbycraft having a butchers in the model section and got the shock of my life....a Spitfire XII in 1/48. Got to read the magazines once in a while, I get so out of touch. Only my all time favourite Spit.
Had a Google when I got home and found they've released a XIX Pr too. After a bit of research I think it might be possible with some cutting, filling and sanding to mate an Airfix XVI wing to the XIX fuselage, source a replacement canopy and decals and knock out a XIVc, my second all time favourite Spit. This could be fun.
Working on the XII right now...very nice but learnt my lesson before with Airfix. Test fit ad infinitum.

I wish they'd pantograph the XII down to 1/72............

They re-released the existing Stirling kit recently - is it the box art for that?

There's Tiger Moth artwork in there as well. Is this the speculated new 1/24 kit (my money's on a Hawk BTW)

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Damn it your right.. That one slipped under the radar.. :(

Back to guessing... And hoping for a new Victor... ;)

PR19_Kit

My money would be on a 1/24 Tiger Moth too. Matchbox stole their thunder a bit with the 1/32 version and it's not THAT huge in 1/24, smaller than their Spitfire, Mustang and Harrier and it's BRITISH too.  ;D
