There's also a survey.  Of most interest to us is question 7:

7. Are there any products that you would like to see Airfix produce?

I've stuck down new tool Vulcan, Victor and Defiant, more Vampire (and Venom) variants, re-release of the Old Bill Bus for the Great War Centenary.  I can but hope!

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Captain Canada

Vampire and Venom variants would be nice. I asked for 144th scale V-bombers and a new 72nd scale Sea King. I know the Revell and Fuji ones are nice, but I like the 3 for the price of 1 deal.....
CANADA KICKS arse !!!!

Long Live the Commonwealth !!!
Vive les Canadiens !
Where's my beer ?

Only want three things from Airfix next year:

Spitfire V - with alternate canopies and both B and C wing.  Preferably interchangeable with their current I/IIa kit.

Spitfire XIV highback, with an alternate sprue for the lowback.

New tool Blenheim.  Starting with the mk V.

With the addition of a Whirlwind, I couldn't fault your list .

AND a Beaufort. Sick of waiting for the mythical Special Hobby release. Don't they have one at Hendon?

A new Bristol F.2B in 1/72.  Not a biplane fan but would build a brand new Brisfit if one came out.

Then the old ones would come tumbling down in price, I'd get one, chop it up and whif it.  Like the Cylons I have a plan!

If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

It would be nice to see some more obscure aircraft coming out. A Rogozarski IK3, Breda 65 or 88 or Avia 135, Westland Dragonfly etc. I know these are available for a small fortune and I realise many wouldn't be sold. But I think the numerous versions of the same aircraft available tend to deaden the hobby. Something different that doesn't cost an arm and a leg would be welcome
Just an opinion.

The Special Hobby 1/72 Beauforts were released years ago, ~2005-2007, the 1/48
kit remains as vapourware.

Ooops, didn't realise that

On the poll and all in 1/72 I went for

Hawker Tempest
Bristol Beaufighter
Westland Whirlwind (not the helicopter)
Bristol Blenheim Mk IV

Hannants may have sold out of the SH Beaufort but I'll bet that MPM themselves have a considerable stock remaining.
