Huge range of conversion kits from Kora for the Airfix Tiger Moth now in at the big H.

This one is for a Queen Bee target drone. Can't help feeling those floats would be popular for other versions too:

what is the difference between a Australian and normal wing?

It's upside down of course...........  ;D

Kora seem to be very keen on changing the wheels, is there something wrong with them?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Large box has arrived at the stables up North  ;D My niece reckons that it's not as big as she thought it would be, quiet heavy though. She says it's about the same size as the dog's basket ? Now if she's referring to the smaller of her two then that's fine as that one is a fairly small little so and so. If however it's the size of Kizzy's basket then there's a problem. Kizzy is a rather large Alsatian

Having seen the box that the 1/24 Mosquito comes in (my bro' has one), I'd expect the bigger one Chris

1.  Sorry fans of other scales, I'm a dyed in the (strictly aircraft only) wool 1/72er.
2.  In quandary over the Swift.  I've a Pegasus Swift that is meant to be turned (for personal reasons) into Mike Lithgow's record-breaking F.4.  It has donated its belly tank to the very nice Xtrakit FR.5 that's in the stash.  BUT I WANT AN AIRFIX F.5 TOO!!  So please Colin Freightdog can you do a Swift F.7 conversion for the Airfix kit?  Please??  Then my quandary will be whether or not to convert the Xtrakit Swift or (less likely, somewhat perversely!) the Airfix Swift.

Love this F.7 scheme used for braking trials: http://www.airliners.net/photo/UK---Air/Supermarine-Swift-F7/2131238/; looking rather Grumman F11F Tiger in some respects.

And just found this pic: http://www.airliners.net/photo/UK---Air/Supermarine-Swift-F7/0291114/&sid=2a0e428056c948de6f1c6e04ac2cd601

The Wooksta!

Magna do a Swift F7, although the Fireflash missiles are dreadful.

Price?  Hmm, probably cheaper than Airfix plus conversion.

Funny that. Many[many] moons ago ISTR a Swift being built [converted?] from a Hasegawa Grumman Tiger. IIRC the starting point was turning the tiger fuse upside down  A bit like Colin....built a Douglas Digby from a Matchbox Halifax. Upside down fuse in that one too  :banghead:

I remember that build too.  May even have the details buried in the depths of my stash of reference material.

Can anybody tell me what is the difference between the Airfix 109G and the Airfix 109G? They currently have two 1/72 scale versions in the catalogue. The reference number differ by "A".

P.s If I'm being thick, please point it out. I'm used to that!

Why? Have you lost a cousin.......

Decal sheet only. I was wondering as I have some air miles to spend.

Owing to work commitments and house move I haven't had a chance to do any modelling for a while. I have several projects on the go. I hope to get back to it soon.

I've got a Hartlepool RNLI Station baseball cap which has a Monkey hanging from the RNLI flag  ;D

If there's a prize for the place that's changed most in the last 15/20 years then it must be Hartlepool. I used to go there a lot on business but I went to the old quay development last summer with my nieces and it was unrecognisable. Great day out. When I was a kid the only entertainment was the transporter bridge and a trip on that was my grandad's idea of a day out for his grandson
