 How about a 1/72 Berlin radar Ju88.  They seem to be rather highly valued... 

About 35 years ago I built a balsa and tissue rubber band powered Tiger Moth that must have been about 1/24.  Took ages building it and doping the tissue and then on its maiden flight down the garden it veered left into a concrete planter and destroyed both port wings.  I was not impressed.

You mean a decent kit done to Airfix's latest standard 72nd Scimitar, as Xtrakit do an Injection Moulded Scimitar created by Sword, but it has the fit and detail issues associated with a limited edition kit.

I would also like to see them scale down the Sea Vixen and Javelin to 1/72nd, retool the Buccaneer again along with the Tornado and Typhoon to cover the modern Royal Air Force.

New Tool wise I would love them to do a British Phantom with the optional fin tips and RN/RAF fits (possibly as separate kits of the K & M), The Sentinel, the Shackleton and the remainder of V-Force. One that might be good would be a new C-130 kit with options parts for the conventional and stretched fuselages along with separate fits for the K & J as that could be a popular export kit too.

The latest Airfix Mag has exactly that proposal on its last page, the one where people write in to suggest old kits that need to be re-moulded in modern times.

Towed Rapier with all the different units would be more "international", and they already have the Landrovers to tow them... Alternatively, 1/72nd Supacats or Jackals/Coyotes would be good.

Old kits that could use a re-mould? That's an interesting concept. Not simply "suggest whatever floats your boat, no matter how ludicrous", but "we've got this catalogue that's worked for us so far, now tell us which one you'd like to see redone".

Don't forget that the Valiant PR conversion doesn't come with any clear parts for the camera windows. In a 'superb' marketing ploy Airfix supplied those with the original Valiant kit and if you're planning on using it on something else you'll need to have some Kristal Klear handy.
