Another welcolme RAF WW2 type, looks like the propheads are going to have a rather good 2015 from Airfix, the trouble is its looking rather light on the cold war types except of course for the junglie sea king due this time next year

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

It that is the case, just watch the price of the various Frogspawn kits crash on a certain well known auction site ;D
I will be after a few if we do get a new tool Whitley.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Nope. The one with tip tanks is supposed to have a prop....

That doesn't leave a lot of options unless it's a GA type. The only military ones I can think of off the top of my head are the Piper Enforcer and the SIAI Marchetti SF.260 Warrior, but they'd be pretty obscure choices for Airfix...

Would that lead to a Biplane version of the Whitley?

Not quite: it says the range will be revealed at midday on Monday, so about 14 hours from now.

Amazing to think of the anticipation this has produced, other model manufacturers just don't have the same impact
