The Defiant is out. At least in the Dogfight Double boxing with the Do 17. Just need it to be released on its own now

I plan on getting this boxing, this way I get both aircraft which I would like, just not going to necessarily build them out of the box.

Just checked the Big H and they have the Defiant in stock in the standard boxing, starter set and Dogfight D
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Captain Canada

Might see them here in 2017

It's like UK was in the 50s, 'export or die'.  :banghead: :banghead:

WHAT ABOUT US WHO LIVE HERE AIRFIX?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Look on the bright side, they may be out in time for the Scots nationals. even thou yet another delay is is a bit of a kick in the teeth.
I always hope for the best.

Pre ordered and money put aside for tow of both the Swift and the Shackleton so all I will be getting peeved about will be the wait. At least I am actually getting on with other outstanding projects, some going back to 2009 and 2010.

But the darn things exist, they have them in the USA. It's not a production issue, it's a marketing one and their Marketing Director should be SHOT!

Where are they made?
USA is closer to China than UK is...

I was in my LHS on Wednesday and they have very little of any new release Airfix stuff.
However, the LHS is a small business in a factory unit in a small to medium sized town.  In the large HS in the city they had a lot of new stuff including a stack of Mk 1 Blenheims.  So it seems here local distribution is the problem.  The distributer is obviously playing favourites and gives the bigger stores with more turnover first dibs on the the sought after stuff.

Re Shaks, there is always a chance that either Revell or Airfix cancel theirs because of the competition.  Worst case is they both do it...

Don't worry Kit, they'll turn up (sooner than they get here).  And it's not as if you don't have anything to build...

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

The Big Gimper

I was able to get my Swift from Wheels and Wings, a nice well stocked Hobby Shop located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, 3 weeks ago.

Mostly made in India I think.

Which is about midway between both I think.
