They're 737 or A320 size approx. but there are ZILLIONS of airliners that size these days.

Didn't take them long to get the hawk out with the new markings ! Nice !

In my world, my LHS owner heard through his suppliers that Hornby has just about figured out that they are losing money with the CDN import cockup and are thinking about doing somat. This goes all the way back to the fabric winged Hurricane.

Actually they did as thats last years 50th scheme and we have already seen the new 2015 with the softer Union Jack

Makes sense. I've only been able to pick up one Airfix kit in the past year - the Lightning F.6...and that was a bloody miracle. Still waiting for my F.2

IIRC you can build an F2A from an F6, in fact I did it with a FROG F6 many moons ago. The other way round needs a bit more work, but not much.

Isn't it just, i think they are taking great delight in showing off first the CGI, then the prototype model based on the CGI, and now the start of tooling, all to show its actively in development as a opposed to the photograph of the real aircraft Revell have shown so far.

However i suspect this may be a dated image or of the production tooling being created, as i did hear from sources that test shots have been seen. Of course we know from the Swift that getting to actual mainstream production is not always quite as straightforward as we think.
