When's the Beaufighter due?  Want the torpedo and the release gear for other projects, especially the Brigand TF1 that's been on and (mostly off!) since 2000!

There's a build in the current Airfix Magazine (May) therefore going on past experience I'd say out in May - hopefully

I can see the folded ones appearing on other Sea King models too, bags of scope there.

Got the latest Airfix mag today and the 2 kits featured in the full page ads are the Beaufighter which I knew was due in June and the He 111 which I didn't 

He 111 box art is of one being shot down by a Skua, beats the normal Spitfire or Hurricane, but does it mean Airfix are thinking of a Skua ?

Oh I hope so would be nice to see some real FAA wartime subjects with the fit and the detail of the new Airfix Kits. I wonder if they will do a new Fulmar as well, to create a possible HMS Ark Royal air-group with their recent Swordfish. (Yes I know special Hobby have done both but Airfix can still do them better especially with additional features like Folding wings)

The Barracuda has been kitted by MPM / Special Hobby, Eastern Express and Platen Models that I know of.

The Albacore has been kitted by Special Hobby and possibly others

They'd need a new fuselage and a new wing.  The Skua has constant chord and dihedral wingtips, whereas the Roc has dihedral proper.  Plus there's other changes.

The Special Hobby Fulmar isn't that much of an improvement over the Vista kit.

Barracuda kits?  Frog and all it's fuzzy bunny children - Novo, Eastern Express, Ark, etc.  Magna did a mk V and MPM/Special Hobby doing the mk II/III.

Albacore?  Formaplane, possibly Rareplane.  Pegasus, possibly Merlin (they definitely did a Fulmar), MPM/Special Hobby.

They could well be doing a Skua, it was my guess on Britmodeller at what Airfix were also researching in the Norwegian Aviation Museum when they scanned something there a year or so back.
I was really hoping they scanned the Braathens Fokker F-28-100 though!
