Close counts........

When you're retired every day is Saturday, I thought it was Tuesday today, simples.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Absolutely Kit  Once you are retired you only need remember what day it is if you have something specific to do on it  ;D

Captain Canada

Sounds like my LHS can get Airfix in, but he has to order direct from the UK and the costs would be higher ! Crazy.

Yeap another nice article, interesting subject on scaling up/down kits and I'm sure the Defiant will be as popular in 1/48th especially with the Battle of Britain tie in to go with the early Spitfire and the Hurricane.

The Shackleton MR2 schemes look interesting, although I suspect we'll have to await on the 2016 Catalogue for official news of the AEW2 boxing.

One point of note however, with the WWI kits announced last month and the 48th Defiant, does this mean the late December new release schedule for the new years range will be less relevant with news from the workbench doing an exclusive each month, or have the Airfix design team now reached a capacity and skill level to research and develop more than the annual expectations allowing for more new kits to be produced over each year ?

Gorgeous...the pair. I could look at those 2D CAD views all day...so realistic, and that whole 'blank canvas' thing.
