Drool! That Meteor looks absolutely fabulous
Must pray to the God of all things plastic that Airfix downsize
It to 1/72.....
Then I'd  order a crate of Meteors
And dig out 'Coronation wings' and the back cover of 'Fighting colours'
And make a mountain of Meteors ;D

Keith
The British have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved". Soon though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross". Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the Blitz in 1940 when tea supplies ran out for three weeks

Forgive him, the legions stilled controlled Britannia when he went to school & he still, occasionally, falls back into Roman numbering. ;)

It's the way I've always written it  Definitely a sign of my age  ;D

I am sure there is a joke about Latin and "I" before "E" but as I don't know Latin I shall refer my fellow members to the scene from "Life of Brian" where Brian is caught painting slogans in the main square.

That F8 looks terrific, they REALLY need to scale that down to 1/72, it'd beat the pants off the previous version.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

If they don't, someone else surely will.

When it's so darned obvious to us, why doesn't it occur to them? It took YEARS for them to catch on to the Lightning.  :banghead:

Well rather oddly the new tool Beaufighter is available from model shops on-line but not direct from Airfix ?

So I ordered mine from the Big H

Box art is up for the Ju 87 and Shakleton. The box art for the Shack could just tempt me. Love the colour scheme
