Speaking of anniversaries, the other day was the 100th of the Fokker Triplane's maiden flight. Maybe a replacement for that old kit is in the works? I know Revell and others do nice ones but they don't make Airfix money. Surely we're due some more WW1 types?!

I think you might see a couple of WWI types next year Zac. They have done a couple of new tools, but they will probably be British. So a Camel, Bristol Fighter perhaps ? What's around in the UK/Europe for them to scan ?

I support that idea! IMHO, one of the coolest piston engined fighters.

What Buccaneer, their 48th one is retired as the mould is shot, and I think plans for a new one in either scale are on hold as TanModel are currently working on one.

Now the Javelin on the other hand could do with being scaled down as some interesting evolutions in BSP:F 2nd edition.

I was thinking of 'that' Bucc, but I didn't know about the moulds..................

I would like to see them do a 1/72nd Scimitar to complement the Swift, as I think they can do a far better job than the Xtrakit version that's now OOP.

However I think the focus will be an RAF bias next year, which is why more of an FAA tone this year. Expect to see some interesting items in 48th, 72nd and maybe 24th. We can probably expect the Phantom FGR2, another Mitchell variant, something US that the RAF used such as the P-47, an early Mustang, or a US twin engine bomber, we'll probably see something WW1 related and it would be nice to see something current for a change such as Tornado (possibly before it goes out of service !!), Typhoon or maybe even F-35B. For the Cold War I guess we may see the Victor Tanker, or more likely a new Vulcan and a limited re-issue of the Valiant to give the V-force trio.
