The Buccaneer has on odd feature: two of the pylons are separate, but two of them are moulded in one piece with half a rocket pod. That's a real pain if you're not using them but were looking forward to having a spare pair of 36-round 2" RN rocket pods.

How hard is to cut the rocket pod off the pylon?

Just got my latest Workbench e-mail and amongst the new and re-released kits news Airfix have confirmed that they will be making a "big" announcement at 11am on the Saturday again.

What time did you get there last year Kit ?  ;) ;D

Pass, I was just wandering by wondering what the cameras were doing, but it wasn't long after they'd announced the Hellcat.

It's the 1/24 Lysander III they held off releasing last year because of the Hellcat.  To be followed by 1/48 and 1/72 Lysander II/III kits.

Nah, it'll be the next batch of old moulds to be re-popped are the 1/16 motorcycles and the 54mm horsemen.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

My Limited Edition Motorhead He111 has been delivered to my chosen freight forwarding depot (my parents house) and then posted onwards.

Airfix's show announcement appears to be a 1/72nd scale Avro Vulcan?

Unless I've read the online Workbench incorrectly?

So that's the reason why the old Airfix Avro Vulcan prices are going up on eBay.

I noticed it will come with three 7-bomb clips in the bomb bay.  I'll have to watch the video on SPF again that shows a 10-bomb clip being loaded, and see how I could adapt them.
