Well there's a surprise................NOT!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I guess no big Airfix 2021 release news ahead of the Jan 2021 LondonToy Fair.  With no SMW, what's the point?

Not sure where the Airfix kits are currently tooled/moulded, but wherever it is the current situation is going tto have some impact on release dates even if no borders need to be crossed.

I'm waiting for the Spitfire Mk V and Beaufort, both f which are imminent, I hope.

Exactly, the pandemic has thrown a wrench into just about everything.
The delay of a plastic model is an irrelevance in the scheme of things.

It's a What If site so maybe he's suggesting  what if they were irrelevant .

That's the thought of the People's  Airfix Modelling Front of Margate  or PAMFOM

SPLITTER!

It's the Margate Airfix Modelling Peoples Front! Any fule noes that!

Seriously though, this gives Airfix more time to get it right (or more likely, more time to overlook an obvious error in the kit!)  ;D

It's because the inclusion of only one 'Sound Module' just couldn't reproduce the ROAR of those four Olympus engines, even to 1/72 scale, and they're having to re-engineer the entire kit to make room for the monster 'SUPER Sound Module'.

The Front at Margate was the scene of a couple of punch-ups when I was a teenager

Mods & Rockers?

Nope, bit early for me, although I went down on the back of a friend's older brother's Lambretta once.

In my day it was "Skins & Greasers".

Same here --- 'Coarse, riding a motorcycle back then you got painted with the same brush --  :banghead:

But I have ridden a 'pee-can', when my left leg was smashed up and in a cast from my toes to my knee.
