It would have been rude not to......  ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Hmmm, maybe they've all been hijacked in Melbourne? Although BNA is Melbourne-based?!

The Wooksta!

Very few on eBay. I was tempted, but it wasn't as sleek or sexy as a Mosquito so left them for others who want one more.

According to the bloke in my local LHS it's all to do with each particular stores relationship with the Australian distributor of Airfix products.
Metro Hobbies may have a better relationship than BNA and so get the pick of the latest shipments.  Beauforts, having been flown by the RAAF will be popular here.
My local bloke told me that he never gets what he asks for from any of the local distributors and has to take \whatever is left after the "big boys" have taken what they want.

Maybe the smaller guys need to form some kind of cooperative?

It happens a lot in the travel industry.  The big firms can squeeze out the little guys easily, so the independents sign up to an agent who has more clout, with strength in numbers.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I have been told that with car tyres there are three grades.
The best tyres, which need no balancing are provided to the car manufacturers as they want to fit them on the production line with no messing around.
The next level goes to the big tyre distributing chains.  They need balancing but not much is required.
And the bottom level goes to the small independent tyre shops.  These are the tyres which need big chunks of lea to be strapped to your rims.

This is Hannants' statement regarding the Beaufort

"Airfix Beaufort. Please see below....
We have received a partial delivery of the Airfix 1:72nd Bristol Beaufort AX04021. Unfortunately we have not been sent enough to satisfy even half of the Backorders we have for it. We will be despatching Backorders based on the date they were placed on Backorder. We are sorry but there will not be any kits on general sale or for trade customers probably until June."

Pre-ordered mine back in October, so will just have to wait and see

I am holding out for a  new tool  Vulcan, shelf space  allowing, I  want to  build it as a maritime patrol bomber, with some shocking great whiff anti ship missiles , or a  quantity of RB -04 missiles  hung under the wings.

A Vulcan with about 8 Sea Eagles would be a formidable Maritime Strike platform...
So I got that going for me...which is nice....
