I have to agree Martin, late WWII Brit fighters have been my absolute favorites for years,

Mine as well

How great would it be to have Airfix and/or Eduard produce 1/72 Sea Furies, MB5s, Spitefuls, Hornets and Hawker P1030s.
Won't happen, other than maybe Sea Furies.

Going back to Mosquitos, when parking my car in it's usual spot today, next to the trolley bay, I noticed all the Coles Supermarket shopping trollies have twin ridged anti-shimmy tyres on their castors.
Make of that what you will.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I've got a few 1/48 kits of my absolute favorite aircraft. One favorite is the F-86 Sabre, and I see Airfix has released their 1/48 F.4 variant. I just ordered one ----  ;D

And now cancelled after the total with shipping cost came to light ---- nearly C$100   :banghead:

This is back on --- while visiting the LMS last week I asked if they were bringing these in and they said yes. I've reserved one ----

Good to hear mate.

As a matter of interest, how far from home is your local model shop ?

The one I went to was in Red Deer and approximately 80km away. If I go to either of the two in Calgary, one is about 110 km, and the other is about 140km.  Whenever I go to them, I make sure to include other places that need to be visited, Costco for instance. The reason I was in Red Deer was mrs kitnut had a strange occurrence where she had woke up that morning with a memory loss and was at the ER, and because of covid protocol's, I was not allowed in with her. So instead of sitting in my truck twiddling my fingers waiting for her, I went to the LMS  ;D

I was expecting you to say 200 miles or something knowing the size of Canada  ;D

My nearest are probably 10/15 miles, but would be 2/3 changes on public transport so like you if I go then I'd need to stick another visit in and to be honest neither area has anything/anywhere I need.  :-\ Still I think I've found one in Dorking, hour or so by train and Dorking has some nice pubs  ;D

How's the Mrs ?

I posted it four pages back but it got lost in the Mossie tail wheel saga
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

The round trip to the furthest LMS is about 200 miles  ;)

Mrs kitnut is doing quite well now, the memory loss lasted for most of the day, by the evening she got back most of the old memories, but now can't remember anything about what happened during that day. The doctor said she had a TGA, Transient Global Amnesia ---
