Today's sole arrival is a resin kit of the VF-4 Lightning from Macross. Lovely little kit, which will look kind of like this when built:

Different paint scheme, obviously, but exactly what is still to be determined...

Oh, and I nearly bought a Valiant this afternoon, but managed to resist. Mostly because the box is so big I have nowhere to put it!
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

LOL - I nearly bought a Valiant the other day, then realised I couldn't carry it on my bike....

Today from ebay:

Mars 1/72th (sic) US Marine M60A1 "with reactive armour", except that when I opened the box, it didn't have any reactive armour: just a plain M60.... Still, it's a nice M60 and it was exceedingly cheap so I can't be bothered sending it back......

BIN on Ebay - AZ Supermarine Seafang.  Polish trader and even with the postage, cheaper than the BIN price of any of the UK traders.  Only want the one though.

From the ebay splurge:

Monogram 1/72nd X-15.

Builds the black or white one, has external tanks and the dummy scramjet, but most importantly, it's the Young Astronauts Special Edition, complete with Young Astronaut Program application form and poster! ;D

You could always try this speculative but real scheme:

I've a pair on the go (stalled) that will end up as RN machines.

Last of the ebay splurge: an Airfix 1/72nd Eurofighter EFA. I had the impression that this was slightly different to the eventual Typhoon kit, but if it is, then I can't tell how.... oh well, bits for the bits box....

You actually want the the Esci EFA or the Revell JF-90 which are a bit different to the actual Eurofighter

I have the Eurofighter EFA kit in the stash and then bought the Typhoon kit when it came out because I thought it was different. The Typhoon box art shows certain missiles on the pylons which are different, but once you open the box, it was the same kit as the EFA, no new missiles, just different decals

I got the Academy 1/35 M1151 Humvee as well as some resin detailing sets for the 1/35 Hobby Boss Wolf W.I.M.K - one including resin tires.
I also got a 1/35 resin ODA (Special Forces) sargent figure.
