first purchases in ages... a set of Braz RB211 engines and a Zvezda 767 to go with them, to be RAF tanker or AWACS, not sure yet

NARSES2

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Bought my last ever (for now) model kit on e-bay.
1/72 Hasegawa Shinmeiwa PS-1 Flying Boat

crikey, just bought an Airfix Nimrod & Zvezda Mi-26 Halo (not sure how to try sneaking those 2 into the house), but a bargain at £20 the pair... Canadian Nimrod? (or maybe an RAF AWACS conversion?), think the Halo will have to be Soviet naval infantry (with folded blades, of course  ;) )

Dig a tunnel, it's the only safe way......  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Kit

The Nimrod AWACS might give you problems in the tail area, I've built a version using the E-3 spin top and E-2 legs/stand. You'll need the air extractor fans as well.
My third Nimrod kit will be the 'Sea Nimrod' aircraft carrier version with folding wings and 1/48 arrester hook.
Trials held with the US Navy.

Gondor

From a shopping trip to Falkirk I had a look to see what was left in Leisuretime as they are still open with 20% closing down sale but not much as far as I am concerned, still came away with the Revell 1/72 He-111.

Got another load of kits:
1/24 Airfix General Lee
1/72 Tu-22M
1/72 C-135 FR

Not sure on the scale but it's 'Thunderbird Two' plastic model kit.
Better start saving for Christmas.

What do you think of it? I don't do 1:350, but I'd possibly make an exception for this, and maybe the Academy Warspite.

Oh, and if someone kitted HMS Tiger (the battlecruiser) in any scale, I'd bite their arm off.
