Hobby Model Kits 1/200thish Boeing 747-400, from ebay.

Dreadful kit, with engine pylon slots that go right through the wing and panel lines that would be embarrasing on an old Matchbox 1/32nd job... However, what I want it for is the engine pods and possibly the wings, scaleorama'd to 1/72nd.

finaly collected the stash reduction kit, kit was good enough to sell me via my inlaws ( just havent seen them since christmas)  so a 1:48 airfix f3 tonka
and 17 I-Darleks on this week dr who magazine  etc
might have to get a couple more copys.

Left outside in the rain by the postie who didn't bother to ring the bell.... If I was a collector, I'd be highly annoyed now, but since the decals survived, I'm not bothered.

The Indian Mk.II is so pretty that I'm inclined to put it on the small Real World pile, but the Sabre front end, I have plans for - Oh by Crikey yes Boss!

yesterday i bought an airfix Dornier Do-17E/F, a kit i first built in my teens if not earlier.

the challenge is to whiff it and all i can think of is RAF markings after say a luftwaffe pilot tried to 'defect' if that's the right word
about the time of the munich crisis of 1938 and ends up landing the plane at say manston.

yesterday i bought an airfix Dornier Do-17E/F, a kit i first built in my teens if not earlier.

the challenge is to whiff it and all i can think of is RAF markings after say a luftwaffe pilot tried to 'defect' if that's the right word
about the time of the munich crisis of 1938 and ends up landing the plane at say manston. 

Too early - the 217 didn't fly until '39 and the early ones were nothing like the E, being closer to the Do 215 in outline.  A defector or escaping RAF aircrew nicking it in '42 would be more believable.  Or one of the Beidecker raiders force landed in error?

In the post today, I got a 1:100 Gundam F90 kit. All resin, and should be about 20cm high when finished, give or take. Very nice. Pic attached of the finished model.

Edit - total of 7, plus three assembled and two more in a pair of still sealed Tempests.  I need two for an unspecified project and I'm sorely tempted to do a Sabre engined Lancaster, so a total of six are up for grabs.

I have to add that I'm using the exhausts on late mark Spits, so you'd have to source them from Aeroclub.

Well I got my Airfix Collectors edition (Sabre & MiG 15) as well as a (all for the 46 GB) Matchbox VI/II Tempest via eBay, bringing the total to two as well as an Airfix P80 and an XP55 Ascender plus a Pioneer Yak 15, a Fujimi Spitfire XIVE, and a couple of Sea Furies. Now if I can just get them all built in time!
