I said I wasn't getting one, oh no Sir, not me....

Colour me shamefaced...

From Bolton Model Market:

1/72 Airfix TSR2.MS

All for the barganacious price of £16.99

The meteor sweeper bits may well end up on a Revell MiG-31, the TSR-2 will in all likelihood be RAF.

Duncan
Is that how much they are knocking them out for??
Will have one for that price if so. Have they any left Duncan??
Cheers,
Chris.

If you could spare a pair or three of them, that would be excellent.

Not a problem, they're in a box in front of me.  Are you going to Huddersfield in a fortnight?

My visit to Uncle Frank this morning yielded:

2 Airfix Spitfire PR.XIXs
1 Sword Spitfire Vc Trop (tempted with another 2 or 3)
1 Xtrakit Spitfire F22 (another 3 are on order...)
Plus a set of Airfix Blenheim wings for an unspecified project.

No, I work weekends and it'd be a bit of a trek to get there (I live on the South coast). Check your pms.
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

Having had to dig about in the loft at me Mam's for some bits for Gondor, I found several (actually 7) Skybirds 86 DH Hornets.  I knew about 3 but couldn't find the others.  A chance find by looking in a Magna Hornet NF21 box unearthed 2, the Magna Scimitar box underneath another pair.  Result!

The one I'd won on ebay a few days back also arrived today.

SEVEN? No-one can need SEVEN Skybird 86 Hornets, not even you Lee!  ;D

Wanna swap one????
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Gondor

I wonder if Lee would swap one of those Skybird Hornets for a Skybirds Scimitar?

One for every mark (F1, PR.2, F3 early, F3, FR4, F20, NF21 & PR22) plus a few extra for differing schemes!

The Skybirds kit is the best Hornet available in the scale - Frog old and crude (eminently whiffable though), Magna expensive and really just a reworked Frog kit and the MPM tooling is an overpriced ill fitting mess. With one or two exceptions (the two that are actually assembled), they're all allocated for my real world Hornet lineup.

I love the Hornet.

Gondor, having had and sold on the Scimitar, I'll pass.

He'd have to go a long way to do that.  Still wouldn't be an urban legend though.
