TBH, I thought he was a really sour faced individual and I was never happy buying from source, at least where he was concerned.  Although looking back I could have, and really should have stocked up on his Hornets. He also did a two seat Hunter in resin that was apparently superb but I never got one. Is he still alive?  I think (name deleted on legal advice) tried to buy the moulds or remaining kits but someone put a spanner in the works so Mike Eacock still has the moulds.  Perehaps it's one for Colin to think about?

IIRC, I've a Magna Scimitar somewhere that I was given and a CMR one is also residing in me Mam's loft.  I disposed of the Xtrakit one ages ago.  Didn't like it and I knew I would never build it.

I have a Fine Molds Ki-100 (the radial version of the Ki-61) but it is awfully lonely. Let me know what you want for it as I hate to see my kits unhappy and alone !

I know I have one of each of the early Fine Moulds radial Tonys - they were injection fuselages with the Hasegawa inline kit and I want to hang onto them.  The other one I have is newer, a complete kit but sans instructions - it was a second hand kit and they were never in it.

If you have any Spitfires spare, perhaps we could do a prisoner exchange?

Arrived this morning at work, four A400m's for stock, now there's only three cos I got one.  ;D

Been wondering what to do with it since I got the monster and I've decided to do her in Raspberry Ripple colours with underwing refuelling pods.  ;D

The Wooksta!

Popped into Modelzone last night to get a pair of Airfix Spitfire IXcs, only to find that they had a sale on some Revell stuff - Beaufighter TF.X and the Walrus being the only two I was interested in, although quite a bit of the Star Wars stuff was discounted.

So I came out with a pair of Beaufighters - I've plans for a pair next year and would have bought them anyway. This way, I've saved a few pennies.  New Zealand for one of them.  Actually, I'm thinking about a third now.

Unfortunately I do not have a Spitfire kit (hear's sharp intake of breath around the nation) made or unmade. I am so ashamed   :o.

I could possibly grab some off ebay but I guess I'd be bidding against you so I'm afraid its beer or twiglet vouchers via PayPal or my wife delivered to your door (with no return address).

Please take my wife, please.

Mr.Creak

Had a trip to rainy Doncaster on Monday.
Treated myself to the new Airfix 48th scale Frightening F2/ F6 (I usually limit myself to 72/ 76 scale for wargaming, but fancied a display model of a real aeroplane) and picked up the new Cromwell tank by Airfix too.
(Although it'll look a bit small next to my HAT/ Armorfast ones on the wargames table...)
What if... I had a brain?

From various LHS's:

1. Another Airfix Angel Interceptor - 'cos I had another idea....

2. Zvezda 1/72nd Soviet 37mm AA gun (Bofors clone). Nice little model for £2.75

Also, two packets of plastic clamps of various sizes.

Trumpy 72nd scale CH-47A for 18 bucks.....didn't really want it but couldn't resist the pricetag.

ProModeler 72nd scale B-17. Is it just me ? Or is that an insane amount of parts and detail for only 26 bucks ? Now to figure out what the heck to do with it......

At LAST I've got my twin RF-101C 'Sun Run' kit!

But it took 6 phone calls, 4 emails, 2 letters to UKBA which have yet to be answered and one letter to my MP which finally got some action! I'm really glad to get them but the aggro was just ridiculous.  :banghead:

One of them is going to be built OOB, but maybe with a different scheme on each side, out of the four that are supplied on the decal sheet, and the other will be Whiffed unmercifully.  ;D
