Been down to Alders in Croydon-toy department and bought the Bedford refueling truck by Airfix. Some of the kits have been reduced, the new Sea King kit was put on the shelf yesterday.

so i have this habit of searching on ebay by distance from me.....my theory is if i can collect from someone only a few miles away, what i save on postage i can buy more with if they are selling several kits....i resent paying the mail to take several days to deliver something when i can go and get it in the car in 20 minutes!

ive noticed over the last few months someone who is about 20 mins drive away put about a dozen kits on during the first week of the month............i dropped a pm everytime asking if i could collect and pay cash and she has said no....................this month she gave in and said yes  ;D.................turns out she is selling her partners stash as due to illness he can no longer make models...............anyway, i won a couple of things, went to collect, ended up having a nice chat with the pair of them, he had about another 20 kits ready to go on ebay and said he would happily sell any i was interested in...................got this bundle for the grand total of £16/$us26/$aus24/euro18

Looks like it should be a good kit to put together. MPM/Special hobby have upped their game in the last few years. They don't look like shot run kits any more
