TBH, you could stand on them and they won't even crack.

Given my general level of hand-eye co-ordination, that might be their best feature....

The Big Gimper

From a trading session with local Ottawa modeler:

1/72 Heller F-94B. Build out as either a RCAF or Canadian Coast Guard Trainer/hack.
1/72 Tamiya P-47D. Cut out fuselage, add a second seat, use Dauntless Canopy. Paint it up as USN Atlantic colours Patrol/Recce bird in 1943
1/72 Italeri BR-20. The Japanese flew these A/C. Nice looking A/C.
1/72 Hobbycraft Avo Arrow. Bring it forward to the late 1960's, RCAF Arrow Mk II or III. New canopy, under wing missiles and tanks. The usual stuff.

Cheers.

I picked up the four Spitfires on order - and my prediction about the AZ Spitfire F14 Highback being their FRXVIIIe with a new fuselage has been proven correct (woo hoo - lots more spare fuselages!) - plus a second Xtradecal sheet for the Spitfire F22.

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Had a good day at the Anniston AL show today.  Bought an Airfix 1/72 Super Mystere and a Hasegawa 1/72 OV-1 Mohawk.  Haven't decided if they will be real world of WHIFF's.  Also won a Hobby Craft 1/48 Vampire Trainer at the raffle.  That will definitely be WHIFF parts.

Whaaaaaa? The Dragon boxings of the ships are nearly £30 each! Can I get the Revell ones anywhere?

From ebay: Italeri 1:35 Sherman M4A3 Calliope. To be bashed into an assault gun - the Allies are very impressed with the performance of the German Stug vehicles, and decide to make their own version. Probably a QF 17pdr gun or maybe an American 90mm in a low superstructure, with side skirts.
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<
