Tamiya 1/700 Z-class destoyers - One will be HMS Nonsuch (Z-38) and the other i will look to do a Type 15 conversion.

Arggghh - that guy in front of the stage at Bolton with all the books and magazines had an old (yellow) Navy Newswith an article on Type 15s and a damn great diagram. Meant to mention it to you but forgot....sorry! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I was restrained at the Bolton Show, not knowing where the next pay packet's coming from:

Airfix 1/72nd Skyvan, still sealed, for a very reasonable price right at the end of the day,

Plasticart 1/72nd Su-7, mostly for nostaligia value since I remember doing one as a kid, but of course, it has whiffing potential,

Some packs of white metal accessories from Wee Freinds: 1/76th steering wheels, 1/72nd 0.50 cal ammo boxes and 1/72nd 0.30 cal ammo boxes.

The rest of it was tools and supplies: thick CYA, canopy glue, Tamiya tape, clear plasticard, sanding sticks, sculpting tools and paint brushes (inc. two 10 x 0....)

Total less than £40: not bad given that I could have walked away with a couple of hundred quid's worth of books alone...

i do know exactly how much martin's resin HS-125 cost. it was BL***Y expensive, but very, very nice.

very good too to meet a wide selection of the gang, especially chrisonord, I-H-G and dork the kit slayer.
Keeper of George the Cat.

Dork the kit slayer

Splashed out £2.95 on this ,great wiffing fodder . Didnt even have to break in the white fiver.

The look I got off Martin ....................well best described as pitying. Mind you he had just spent a kings ransom on ......................just about the whole shop. ( see above post)

The only downside I see on these re releases is the absence of the display stand.
Im pink therefore Im Spam...and not allowed out without an adult

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Got an ebay win in the post today: AZ Models Spitfire Mk.18. Looks lovely on the sprues. I'll probably do it in either a desert or arctic scheme. Or maybe USAF.
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

OH-58 Kiowa Warrior 1:35 in order to modify it into OH-58 AVX with coaxial rotors and twin fans on tail :) Maybe in polish markings :)

Good man - I looked longingly at those but resisted.....

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

The Wooksta!

Best of luck cleaning up the bits that make up the rotorhead assemblies.  I gave up on mine.

The ESCI BMW M1 I won on ebay has arrived from the US.  I've a feeling I bought that Provence Moulage Aston Martin DB7 from the same guy last year and that took about six weeks.

Club night and I was given two spitfires.  One was the Italeri abortion of a mk IX, so that was donated to a mate who likes Spitfires and isn't quite as picky - he'll reduce it to spares.  The other was the 70s snapfit Mk Ia so that's me happy.
