First Partizan show of the year.
It was too close to Triples - not many traders showed up and I found it a bit disappointing. Although that could also be because it's the first time in about ten years I wasn't running a participation game and went as a "punter".

Van883, as Mr Creak said, 1st partizan ( wargames) show of the year at Kelham hall near Newark. Though i must say i found it slightly better that normal as the couple of missing demo games did mean that there seemed to be quite a bit more space around the dames and traders there. and the amount spent shows that i found plenty to spend on, ( though i admit at least 3 companys id like to see wernt there. but one is some one ive ordered from for the best part of 2 decades and know are so prompt that myself and freinds have put through orders on a afternoon and had them arrive the next morning).

It IS buildable, but it does try your patience dearly.  I built mine whilst off on the sick in 2000 and hated every minute of it.  It took another ten years before getting a coat of primer and whilst the scheme is on, it's rotting in a box somewhere, unlikely to get finished for another ten years.  Certainly not this year as it's Spitfire Summer* and NOTHING else.

The wheels from the Valom kit are going to get moulded at some stage.  If you can get the white metal props John Adams released for the Valom kit, do it.  Failing that, you can have the plastic ones from the one that I replaced with the Aeroclub items.



*Every single mark of Spitfire, from the prototype to the Seafire FR47, plus the 224, Spiteful and Seafang, ALL whiffed.  I had a nice idea for a Spanish 224 last night and have the history all worked out.

That would be much appreciated Lee...what scale are you working in for the Spits?
