Its a nice kit aint it  - word of note the access ladders if to be modelled closed up should be fitted from the interior of the superstructure, unlike the instructions !!!!.

Radish

Made the "mistake" of dropping in on Models2U, which is only 10 minutes away from me, but only open at nights and sometimes weekend....essentially it's an internet company. But the owner Jon did say, "need a pot of paint at 10pm, and just give us a call and drop in!".

1/72nd HobbyBoss Lynx HAS2 (French real world)
1/72nd italeri (ESCI) Harrier GR.3 (either RAF Biggles, or French desert)
1/122th Revell DC-7C.....(RW Biggles)
1/48th Airfix Spitfire XII....the world is my oyster....possibly French, RAF desert, SAAF, who knows?
1/48th Airfix Spitfire VB.....as above
1/48th Airfix Spitfire VC/Seafire III....probably Seafire French.

My first TSR.2MS arrived today. I say first because it certainly won't be the last...

Weaver

Went into Hobbycraft to get some paints, wire and misc bits, and came out with the last £3.99 Airfix 25pdr in the shop, which means I got.....

a quad quid Quad!  ;D

Big haul from a mate on ARC who's getting out of modelling:

All Hasegawa 1/72:

2 F/A-18E VFA-14 (the standard "white" boxing)
1 F/A-18E VFA-143 Pukin Dogs
1 F/A-18E VFA-137 Kestrels
1 F/A-18E VFA-27 Royal Maces
1 F/A-18F VFA-11 Red Rippers
1 F/A-18F VFA-102 50th anniv.

18 (yes, eighteen!) 1/72 decal sheets (mostly Super Hornets, some Legacy Hornets, as well as one F-15A):
- 12 TwoBobs
- 5 Super Scale
- 1 Hobby Decal - dry "rub on" transfers - wonder how well these will work.

3 sets of Eduard PE for the, you guessed it, Super Hornet
2 sets of Eduard  masks
6 sets of Steel Beach FOD covers
Cheers,
Moritz

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Guess I'm going to keep all of the kits, but I might sell some of the decal sheets. The TwoBobs Super Hornet stuff came as a package deal with the kits. I already had most of the TwoBobs sheets before and one was even included three times ().
Cheers,
Moritz

I am interested in some of the decal sheets, if you are willing to part with them, I have a few aircraft to be done as navy and Marine aircraft.
Cheers,
Chris.
