The Wooksta!

I'd be interested to know just how many Spitfires I'd acquired over the last 6 months to a year.  Got to be at least 50 or so.

I think "too many" is a safe bet, though you probably translate that as "not enough."   ;D

You're right.  You can never have enough Spitfires.  And after reading the On Target profile on the Seafire, not enough of them either!

I'm actually considering getting a pair of the new Airfix Seafire F.XVII as there's two I really like the look of but as one is aluminium overall, I don't want to use the limited run kits I have for it.

Reading's MZ has got a shed load of Revell stuff at half price so I got an Arado AR 240c nightfighter. It'd have been rude not to at 50% off. STILL didn't get my Canadair sabre though, even though they should have 6 in but can't find 'em...

I've got both versions of that kit, very nice, and if memory serves one of them was the second kit I bought on my return to modelling  ;D

Today's arrival, via evilbay: Italeri 1:35 Modern Light Weapons set. Been after one of these for a while, as it is OOP and seems to be the only way to get some interesting weapons - FAL/SLR, G3, Sterling smg, Uzi etc. Also has M60s, AKs, .50s, and Milan and TOW missile launchers as well as a variety of pistols. Will be very useful for equipping my post-apocalyptic gang members.
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

The FC-1's a nice kit isn't it?  Got one myself last week.  Haven't figured out how the brass exhaust can goes together yet though.

Realised that I didn't need the Buckingham - I have 2 Valom ones plus a Magna one to do what I need.

Iranian would be more likely - oil and Uranium to pay for it, given the rapacious nature of the Chinese economy.  Or various tin pot African countries that the Chinese are involved with.
