I swear I had a post in this thread from a trip to Dean's Model Stop in Flushing, MI. from last month, but it seems I forgot to hit submit.

Anyhow, my most recent purchase was an Italeri 1/72 C-27J purchased yesterday.  Oh, the possibilities (USN COD, AC-27J Stinger II, Canada, some NASA thing...)

Ohhh USN COD, now thats a nice idea, could have Lockheed pushing it for the airsupport for the F-35C as they can't fit the current crated engine in the greyhound.

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Some wheeled vehicles from Jadar hobby in Poland:

Mirage 1/35 Wz.34-II A Polish WWII armored car. This started out as a halftrack and was converted into a wheeled vehicle - real world Whif!
Hobby Boss 1/35 Defender XD "Wolf" W.M.I.K
GAZ-AA wheels - 1/35. Just wheels for future projects. They would work with almost any truck from the 30s and 40s.

The package took only 5 days to get here from Poland. Even with the postage, it was cheaper to buy these kits from them than to buy them in the US.

Whilst still behind on the curve, I did manage to pick up a Zvezda Mi24 Hind E from Reading MZ yesterday.
