You'll need a fair bit of work to turn it into anything approximating a Seafire.  The tail surfaces are all to cock and the radiators are crap.

thanks for the heads up, who ever had it first has done a fair bit of cleaning up of the tail surfaces already. As for the Rads, I know what you mean.

From the Scottish Nationals I got today

1 x 1/72 Albatros modelworks "Exotic Stars" Worldwide F-104's  .... to be real world as it has all the markings for all the operators of early marks of the F-104 including some camouflaged Jordanian decoys.

If you get the AZ Spitfire F21 or Admiral Seafire F45, you get the complete Admiral F22/24 kit plus a new F14 fuselage to do the 21 or 45, so that'll give you the tail surfaces plus there's a spare set of wheels and contraprop. TBH, those kits are worth buying for the spares alone.

I might have some spare 21 series radiators in the bits box.

Oh, the Xtrakit F22 has a spare canopy on the clear sprue intended for the Seafire F47, so that'll help too.

Oh, for...  I forgot I bid on a kit on eBay and was pretty sure I wasn't going to win it, but I did, so now I've got my third 1/144 Revell International Space Station on its way to me.  Oh, well, more parts for one of my WHIF stations

The Wooksta!

The other three Seafire F45s I ordered a few weeks ago have finally arrived - not using that trader again!

During a play with various components, I've discovered that the MPM PR19 fuselages will fit Fujimi wings, as will the AZ fuselages, meaning easier builds of Spitfire F14s are possible (the Fujimi ones are very fiddly due to their over engineering of the mould to get as many different variants out as possible, the highbacks being the worst) and the Fujimi canopies will fit the MPM PR19s, which is brill as most of the ones I have the vacform canopies are going a nice golden brown.  I also suspect it means that the Falcon canopies intended for the Fujimi kits will fit the MPM one.  Result!
