Wooks, I think we need a picture of your Spitfire stash.

Would have to be a big camera as the stash is in two separate locations...

Besides, I'm currently building quite a few.

Come now, even a wide angle lens would struggle to get them all in the shot...

From Evilbay:
One 1/72 Eidai Cessna Super Skymaster
One ancient 1/72 Hasegawa Cessna A-37A - I did a bit of dry fitting, and I think this is one of the best fitting sets I've seen so far.

Just got 1/72 Fujimi E-2C Hawkeye 2000 this has the new 8 bladed props as well as the standard 4 and new air intake.
Also bought the Airfix  1/72 Bedford refueling tanker lorry.

;D ;D ;D

A what if one naturally- the PR25 version of the Mk24 with the Seafire FR47 engine & prop and the cutdown fuselage 19 with the 18 fin and rudder.  I'm playing with the bits for the latter - the spare F18 fuselage in the AZ Spitfire 14 fits the MPM PR19 fuselage with a little sanding and the cutdown 19 is one I've been thinking about for a while, ever since I idly test fitted the Ventura 19 wing to their 18.

Just picked this up on ebay. Another packaging of the old Otaki C-5A?. Produced by Yodel Model Co in Japan. Never seen /heard of this incarnation. How many is that now ;D Otaki, Revell, Testors, Entex...............................??? ;D. In case anybody is asking, I paid £31.50. Not unreasonable compared to the stupid prices that are/have been asked on ebay for this kit. £170 or thereabouts for the Entex civil version & I've seen up to & over £100 for the various incarnations of the military version! :o

I've been lucky enough to obtain 1 each of the Revell & Testors boxings over the last couple of years.Again, at what I would call reasonable prices. Sorry!! They are NOT for sale !! ;D 3 C5 Galaxies might seem greedy but, they will ALL be built - including  my R R Trent engined RAF Galaxy C-1! At last I've found a use for those impossibly huge engines from the wreck of my Airbus A-380!! ;D

Loves JMNs but could never eat a whole one!!

DAMN!!! You're one lucky dude! It makes up into a very nice kit, one of the first models I ever made that I was really proud of. In fact I haven't done much since then (early 70s) that is up to the same standard in my opinion.

My PAK-20 book says there's 19 different manufacturers made or reboxed a kit of the C-5 but there's a couple that haven't been listed.
I've got the Revell 1/144, Blackbird Models 1/72 and the Academy 1/480 one.
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

McColm

Could try Heritage models, they have a lot of pre-owned kits for sale. In various scales.

Considering its age, it's a very decent model. Maybe a little basic but, I don't mind that!! I normally avoid 1/144 like the plague but, this is ONE exception I'm happy to make - largely because I've no alternative!!!
