Who's been a busy boy then lol

I came back from Coventry with:

1. Huma Kalkert Ka300 transport Glider. 2nd hand off one of the Coventry boys.
1. Dragon PzBeobWg V Auft. G. 2nd hand off the same Coventry lad.
1. Sign Hafner Rotabuggy. 2nd hand from Mike McEvoy.
1. Mach2 RB-57F. At last! I have the one with that humongous wing span.
Various resin sets from Model Alliance.

And bargin of the day.
1. 2nd hand Iwata compressor from "Chippy" Carpenter (He of Camett) for £30!!!!!!  Bargin or what.
Yes, Robin "Chippy" Carpenter is shutting down Camett on health grounds, the few appearances he is making at the shows this year is to clear remaining stock.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

The Brigade conversion is intended for the Italeri kit but the Airfix IXc will also fit with a modicum of sugery to the wingroots of the conversion and the lower wing or the donor.  Mind, that Brigade fuselage needs a fair bit of clean up and the mating surfaces need some serious sanding down.  It's a lot better than the old M&E conversion which had plastic thicker than railway sleepers...

The Airfix kit is far superior to the Italeri one, despite the lower level of cockpit detail in the former, whilst the plastic is thicker and thus less floppy.

Note with that kit the plates for the stair openings in the side of the superstructure are actually fitted from the inside which the instructions dont make clear.

BTW for those interested in doing HMS Daring, they have finally fitted the Phalanx 1b on the ship last week, and Dauntless has deployed with a pair of Lynx for a NATO exercise.

Ah, thanks - I'll look out for that when I get round to it. :)

Today, via ebay: one Dragon 1:35 Stug III Ausf. G mid (July '43) production with schurzen. Interestingly enough, this is one of the recent Dragon releases with markings from "Die Erzahlung des Schwarzen Ritters", which I'd never heard of but apparently is a famous long-running comic series by someone called Motofumi Kobayashi.

Anyway, lovely Dragon kit with hundreds and hundreds of bits, at an extremely good price (less than half UK retail!), which will be bashed with the whiff-hammer at some point.

Also today, from HLJ - two Hasegawa 1:72 VF-11 Thunderbolt fighters from Macross Plus. Only one is for me, unfortunately, but it's all kinds of awesome.

ICM 1/35 BS-3 100mm field gun
ICM 1/35 light amphibious tank

1/35 Academy M1025 Humvee ( x 2 )

I am seriously thinking of starting to buy kits in volume - 1st up would be 4 x 1/48 P-51 Mustangs.

Only thing that's prohibiting me is amount of storage space - kein platz mehr / no more room / geen spasie meer nie

I normally buy in twos, if I can. Storage and display is getting tight. I've tried 1/144 scale, blimey those parts are tiny!!

I've got the same problem: I'm looking into creating some storage space by building a 'loft' in the hallway of my apartment. There's some headspace above the doors; I can put a shelf there and store the kits that are now overflowing my living room bookcase.

A package arrived from Hannants this morning, within was 2 Revell 1/72 Hawker Hunter FGA.9/Mk.58 and an Airfix 1/72 English Electric Canberra B(I).8.
