Picked up a Revell 1/136 Martin P-6M Seamaster and five  (yes 5, such an odd number) 1/72 C-130J engines with propellers.

One on the fin, Trislander-style?  :wacko:

From a Hongkong company on ebay, who you'd think by now would have figured out how to ship models without getting them broken (..... :banghead:), a 1/12th scale "Sexy Moto Girl" for sitting on 1/12th bikes. With all the discussion of bike ideas of late, it struck me that I could use a rider, with feet on the ground, to hold up a sci-fi hover bike, thereby avoiding clunky "flying stands" and the like.

Before the clamour for photos starts..... :rolleyes: ;)

I'm not sure if Jays have rereleased the Ventura ones yet.

Both versions are listed as available/in stock in their website (http://www.jaysmodelkits.com/jaysmk/), and if my one experience of mail order from them is concerned then you should have however many you order pop through the letterbox within a week or so.
;D ;D

Ta.  I'll look at getting them later in the year.  Now I don't feel quite so guilty about using my only Stinger XV for the Alternate Spitfire project.

Not quite an addition, but very welcome.  Doing some tidying, I located a box with a trio of Novo Attackers in various stages.  This means they slot into the Alternate Spitfire project and I don't have to buy any more. I had a requirement for two, but the third gives me some room - the last one I started, the plastic was awful and repeatedly shattered.  Bearing in mind that the airframe parts are the only ones usable, it's thus a total loss.  Or maybe not if I do it as a flying one?

From ebay - Ventura Spitfire VIII.

Hi,
Winging its way to me in 1/72 scale;
Airfix Nighthawk F-117 (at last I can build a swing-wing version)
Revell HH-3 Pelican ( thought of Royal Navy-grey and red, ASW)

A general tidy up of the modelling room - the same one that yielded the Attackers - also yielded an original KP Spitfire LFIXe.  I wasn't sure if it was there.  I knew I'd bought a cheap one but I thought that was the one I discovered a week or so back.  This is a result as I was after another one to mate with the later KP wing with the long span tips - the fuselage was retooled and now has a cutout for the tailwheel of the VII/VIII. The IX has a solid insert piece which isn't such a good fit.

Wish I knew where my CMR Speed Spitfire went as I want to nick the PR canopies from it!
